I enjoy teaching children and adults to play the piano, either for pleasure, or to help them take Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Exams from Grade 1 – Grade 8.

Also, I enter students for piano solos, duets and trios in the Isle of Wight Music, Dance and Drama Festival which takes place annually in March.  This is optional, but those students who take part seem to enjoy the experience a great deal.

It is lovely to have a piano at home on which to practise but, if this is not possible, a keyboard is a useful alternative, especially if it is touch sensitive.
